Only if you don't have the bose configured for the Watch TV activity.

When you select an activity you're telling it which devices you want to use and which inputs should be selected. Make sure each activity has the correct devices.

If the Watch TV activity does include the Bose, then you may have the Bose power buttons configured incorrectly. Go to Device options (in the software, not the remote) under the Bose and do Adjust power buttons. If you have one button that toggles the power on and off choose that option, otherwise choose one button for on and one for off. You can go into Device mode and try all the power commands to see how they react (if it's already ON does ON turn it off?) so you know what to configure. If you have a device that uses a power toggle (one button for on and off) but you tell it that it has a button for on and a different button for off it will cause the behavior you described. If you have a dedicated discrete ON button configured then the software will resend that when entering an activity (just to be safe because it won't hurt anything). If you use a toggle then it won't resend the POWER command because it knows that might turn the device off.
