I was under the impression that the benefit of having 890 is to have control over both IR and RF receving devices. But having RF don't mean that suddenly my IR devices (pretty much the only type used for HT devices or was that the other way around?) will be able to receive RF signals??
I can pretty much point any of my remotes in all sort of directions as long as I do not actually block the signal
