Yep, I agree........and, if you think about it, it's not a really big deal to use toggle power. It works the same way, it just goes out of sync if another remote is used for a power or input command, and hopefully that will be kept to a minimum, or eliminated. If I had bought it right in town, I would have exchanged it, just to see, and then it would be no big deal if there was no change, and then I'd know for sure it wasn't the remote, but to drive 2 hours when it's pretty much unanimous that it isn't the remote just seemed ludicrous.
