How many components (devices) do you have in each Activity?
One of my Activities that has five devices takes only a couple of seconds to switch them all on.
Being able to configure any of the keys was one of the main reasons why I switched to Harmonys.
"Customise buttons", and the choice of power and other settings, let you do just that.
