akirby/jlet,

Thanks for the help. I had a hard time trouble shooting it. This morning I unplugged the HDMI cable and selected my TV without receiver Actitivy. 5 times the receiver did not come on. Then I plugged the HDMI cable back in and 5 times the receiver did not come one!!!!!! Later it did come on with both tests, so I think that concludes it is the remote.

I reduced the repeats to the TV and that had terrible results. Nothing on the TV worked. I did redo the power for the receiver to seperate buttons for on and off.
While that has not stopped it from coming on sometimes, now when I turn it off the Harmony knows it is in the off state so when I turn everything off it does not come back on.

I think I am sort of giving up since the problem is not consistant and I can't figure how to resolve it. I will mover the receiver power off on the top of the menu when I need to so it will at least be easier.

Thanks for all your help, but I have to conceed as my wife has already made the "is this thing worth it?" remarks! Despite my wife I am still glad I bought this.
