If you can recreate it, try unplugging the HDMI cable from the receiver (and anything else that's connected between the receiver and tv). If it still happens you know it's the IR codes and not the Bravia theater link. If it's the IR codes, try it with the OEM remote. If it doesn't happen, try re-learning the TV power command from the OEM TV remote.
