I contacted Bose and they did respond. The Bose LS 28 can be set to emit IR signals. I knew this. What I did not know is that the IR signals are emitted from the media center in 2 ways. One, you can buy the IR emmitter cable and plug it into the back of the media center or IR signals are emmited from the front of LS28 media center. The "hotspot", seems to be near the middle of the media center. My Harmony 890 learnt commands from the LS28 media center using this method. Trying to learn from the Bose remote is futile, it is RF. Results, I can control all apects of my Bose LS28 from my Harmony 890, except when the Harmony powers down the media center, the audio is off but the media center displays the input I powered off from. The system is off, the media display is not. I will get this right. Bose step up and helped, Logitech passed the buck.
