I'm real close to success. My Harmony 890 can control all the functions of my Bose LS28 except the audio, volume up, volume down. When I toggle the power or select input from my Harmony 890, my Bose media center will turn on, media center will display correct input but no audio. Can not adjust volume up or down from Harmony 890. Any ideas?

Did you test all the commands in device mode? Did you check the activity button mapping (Activity > Customize Buttons)? You could also try selecting the Bose model "321 GSX" in the Harmony device model selection. This workaround is described in this thread: [Link: remotecentral.com]

I contacted Bose and they did respond. The Bose LS 28 can be set to emit IR signals. I knew this. What I did not know is that the IR signals are emitted from the media center in 2 ways. One, you can buy the IR emmitter cable and plug it into the back of the media center or IR signals are emmited from the front of LS28 media center. The "hotspot", seems to be near the middle of the media center. My Harmony 890 learnt commands from the LS28 media center using this method. Trying to learn from the Bose remote is futile, it is RF. Results, I can control all apects of my Bose LS28 from my Harmony 890, except when the Harmony powers down the media center, the audio is off but the media center displays the input I powered off from. The system is off, the media display is not. I will get this right. Bose step up and helped, Logitech passed the buck.
