The HDMI is the label name that is associated with the "InputHDMI1" command on the next page (of the Adjust Input Method 2). The label can be anything you want. Don't confuse label names with command names. Note: The label names in the input configuration is used by the activity setup wizard. You don't map a command to a key here. Use the Activity Customize Buttons to map device commands to keys.
Note 1: When you map a key in an activity, the "InputHDMI1" command should be available from the drop-down list. If the key is a soft (labelled) key, then you can label the key to anything you want. This label has nothing to do with the input configuration labels.
Note 2: Since you don't have another learning remote, then why not use the trick I proposed in post #9 above. This trick is a very good compromise since the 30 seconds delay penalty will only apply when you use the DVD activity(ies).
