I had the remote about a year and a half.

This is what i sent to logitech

"the volume + button doesn't seem to work anymore. I have to press it extremely hard to have a button press register with the remote. And when it does it is either the volume - or mute button. I am concerned if i press it to hard it will crack the circuit board inside
As of now i have the vol + button mapped to the mute button so i do not have to press hard on the button and risk damaging the internals.
I have had the remote over a year so i know my warranty is expired.

I did not know about all the posts on remote control central at the time with the same problem. I would suggest sending them all the links you can find with others having the same problem also. i would also check the logitech forums to see if others posted there with similar problems.

Logitech is a really great company. They have the best customer support i have seen by far in a long time. Allot of the big time companys could learn a thing or two from logitch.
