Yes - go into Device mode for the TV. BUT - do not use the volume buttons. Use the commands listed in the LCD - those should represent all of the available commands, whether or not they're mapped to a button. You may have 2 different sets of volume commands. Once you find the commands (not buttons!) that work then make sure those are mapped to the volume buttons in device mode and in each activity that uses the TV for sound.
