I need some help figuring out descrete codes for inputs. The factory remote control does not have specific buttons for inputs but one "input" button that you have to hit many times to select the specific input.

This is killing me in setting up my pronto.

I did find a pdf file on the quadscan that lists hexidecimal codes for the many functions but these are real short compared to what is learned when I show IR in Pronto Edit.

How do I get the pronto to recognize this string?

I am obviusly missing something, can someone point me in the right direction.
