At first he acted dumb, said I should call the makers of the remote for the codes. Then he hinted about the web and about the way one can figure them out on your own. Then he even quoted "remotecentral" but more as a whisper then anything else, it kind of slid off his mouth by mistake.

Well the answer was that he doesn't have them but will ask to higher powers. He even snikered when I told him to tell these higher powers that some customers like me do want dicrete codes. I don't understand how one would not be allowed to have them.
Anyway, I'm venting. I only really want 2 of them... Input AV and Component.
