You have one of the newer Samsung DLP's, and it does accept discrete codes. It's pretty goofy... Samsung came out with discrete codes for the DLP's last year, but changed them with their newer 2004 sets. Some of the discrete codes stayed the same, but others changed. For example, the codes for on and off, and the PC and S-Video1 inputs didn't change. The others did.

I was in the process of trying to find the newer codes when I ran across your messages. There is some more information on this site if you're interested...
