I cannot think of any other interpretation for that information than the interpretation I already gave you.

I interpreted them that way before doing a search of CCF files. I searched only for what I already thought those Hex values meant and I found only the discrete power commands in those two CCF files.

From the above, I can be quite confident that those Hex values do represent the discrete power commands for the Sharp TV's represented by those CCF files.

Combining that with the rest of what you've told me, I can only deduce that Sharp gave you discrete commands for the wrong model. Good luck in getting better information from them.
