just using a macro for each function (i.e.: to
switch to HDMI1, the macro 1st hits the TV/VIDEO
button, followed by the number 4).
This is what I use on virtually every Panasonic I run into. Although not as glamorous as a direct input discrete, it is very effective and I've never had one misfire. You can adjust the delay slightly between TV/Video and the digit that follows and the input menu may only momentarily flash. Not an issue. Beats Toshiba any day.
