I could not find a straight up VCR for a customer of mine so I had to gamble with a JVC VCR combo. None of my JVC discretes worked so I had to do a little testing...

I found these for a JVC HR-XVC14...

Power Off: JVC device 111/ Function 26

Power On: JVC device 111/ Function 29

Just an FYI...

Many JVC VCRs use functions 26 and 29 for power off and power on within device number 67, 83 or 111. Check the power toggle code on your native remote for the device code used. You will likely find that power toggle will be function 11 for any given device code.

If you find different results please post them!
