I could not find a straight up VCR for a customer of mine so I had to gamble with a JVC VCR combo. None of my JVC discretes worked so I had to do a little testing...

I found these for a JVC HR-XVC14...

Power Off: JVC device 111/ Function 26

Power On: JVC device 111/ Function 29
0000 006D 0012 0011 013F 00A0 0014 003C 0014 003C 0014 003C 0014 003C 0014 0014 0014 003C 0014 003C 0014 0014 0014 003C 0014 0014 0014 003C 0014 003C 0014 003C 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0382 0014 003C 0014 003C 0014 003C 0014 003C 0014 0014 0014 003C 0014 003C 0014 0014 0014 003C 0014 0014 0014 003C 0014 003C 0014 003C 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0382

Just an FYI...

Many JVC VCRs use functions 26 and 29 for power off and power on within device number 67, 83 or 111. Check the power toggle code on your native remote for the device code used. You will likely find that power toggle will be function 11 for any given device code.

If you find different results please post them!

Hello, this might be a strange question but what format are these codes in? I am interested in trying to use them in an MX-3000 but do not recognize the format of the code. Thanks!

Pronto hex.

You can import them using the universal browser hex feature in the more recent software versions.

If you have only the older universal browser in your MX-3000 editor software, there are a few ways to get that Pronto Hex into a CCF file then use the older universal browser to drag it out of the CCF file. If you need those instructions, you could find them in a few other threads here, or ask.
