Maybe I'm doing something
wrong or maybe they just don't work with my TV?
I don't know whether that code doesn't work with your TV or whether you did something wrong in binding the code to a button and/or testing it. But you converted it to pronto hex correctly.
from the PDF file from the
site given above: 16:9 ZOOM 50AF 758A,
When code is documented in that form, you can go directly to condensed Pronto Hex by just inserting 900A 006D 0000 0001 in front of the documented code.
so I modified the
nec1.irp file
That also works and you did it right and you got the correct long form of the pronto hex string.
and ultimately got this from PPENG:
900A 006D 0000 0001 50AF 758A
Exactly what you should have gotten.
which doesn't work on my TV :(
Sorry. I don't have an answer for that.
