Early in the test process I would test at least one of the known codes. For example, you say you learned OBC 64, so you know what function 64 does. If you test function 64 from the MakeHex output and it doesn't do that then something is wrong with your process of generating, installing or testing the codes. No point testing a lot of unknown codes until you know the process is correct.
