Thanks so much for one of the few complete answers found on these forums. Sometimes I think those with the knowledge have completely forgotten who they are talking to (mostly neophytes like me who desire to know but are struggling to find credible info). Anyway, I didn't quite follow your explanation about the MakeHex. Below your response you listed a complete set of IR codes that corresponds to ProntoDave's list of required Samsung codes.

Are you saying that those were generated by taking the MakeHex program and running ProntoDaves original numbers through it? If so, can I simply take the numbers you list

0000 006D 0000 0022 00AC 00AC 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0689

for example (which is for Device code 7, 027 Auto Wide RF1(TV), and cut and paste them directly into the IR Code text box on the Add IR Code dialog box (in ProtoEditNG)?

If not, what exactly do I have to do to get these to work?

Lastly, do you have any idea if these will work with the HLN series DLP monitors from Samsung?

Thanks much. And again, thanks!!!
