UPDATE!!!

All right... time to do the "Woo hoo!!!!" dance! Just re-ran all the discrete code shenanigans and now I have working discretes for everything that is supported on my HLP5685 v1031. I will be constructiing a utilitarian CCF file (Pronto 1st gen) and MXF (MX-700) file to hold these codes. I will upload them to Remote Central when I do. According to a fellow AVS'er, Samsung now has an updated Excel spreadsheet with not only a HEX code generation tool within, but also updated code numbers for each of the function. Of particular note with MY set and MY firmware was the fact that the code numbers used for DVI, S-Vid 2 and Vid2 were all incorrect. For those of you that already have this spreadsheet, the updates are as follows:

Latest spreadsheet

Updated TESTED on my HLP5685 v1031:
DVI = 138
S-Vid2 = 237
Vid2 = 235

I'll ping everyone once I get the CCF and MXF files created and uploaded.

Regs,
Jeff

PS - MANY MANY MANY thanks to John Fine for his help in smacking some common sense in to me with regards to using the right IRP file with MakeHEX. Also thanks to the creators of IRPanels who saved me ALOT of work.
