I have never seen any other device code used for any Samsung TV (or any commands posted here) other than NECx2:7 sometimes expressed as NECx2:7.7.
That is NECx2 protocol, device=7 (and the sub device is also 7) but subdevice=device in the NECx2 protocol. That is probably the only thing that hasn't varied :-)

The problems seem to be:

1. Different models respond to different function numbers (all use NECx2:7.7), for the same commands.
2. Because of firmware problems certain displays don't respond to the commands that they are supposed to even though they are described in documents published by Samsung.
3. Not all models respond to commands that other models respond to and probably were never intended to be.
