The BD-30 can be set to use one of three remote control code sets (to avoid clashes with other Panasonic kit). Are you using the default code set 1? I'm assuming here that the BD10 also has this facility?

I'm just in the process of submitting a full set of clean hex codes to Remote Central. It might be worth checking that some of the other codes work. If they do then you're probably out of luck :(
