Peter, What remote are you using? Did you try any of the codes available on the North American Pioneer site? At pioneerelectronics.com / Support / Custom Install there are code lists (to create remote hex), Pronto ccf, and Universal mxf files for the NA models BDP-94 & BDP-95. I'll venture to say that the On/Off discretes should be the same for all.
