Any ideas for the on/off discretes for this Blu-ray player? (Poor show Pioneer.) Thanks in advance.

Peter,
What remote are you using?
Did you try any of the codes available on the North American Pioneer site? At pioneerelectronics.com / Support / Custom Install there are code lists (to create remote hex), Pronto ccf, and Universal mxf files for the NA models BDP-94 & BDP-95.
I'll venture to say that the On/Off discretes should be the same for all.

If Pronto hex will work for you try these -

Hi- I've tried going to the website as you suggest but at the product link for the respective ccf I get the message "Vignette portal -this system is unavailable". If someone else could get through and post here the on/off from that site for the BDPs I'd be immensely grateful - or even advise me about what I'm doing wrong about getting the data from Pioneer's website and I'll keep having a crack at it.

I've just rung Pioneer customer service in the States (from Australia) and they say that I'm getting the unavailability message because their website is having problems because of a systems upgrade over the weekend. Hmmm.

I was hoping that it would go smoothly but apparently it didn't.
At least for now I'll be free to work on other things besides loading content to the site although I have a lot to load!

I am using a Pronto TSU9400 with a Pioneer 5010FD Kuro. I have pasted the above codes as a cutom IR code and they do not seem to work for me. I also went to the Pioneer site to download the Pronto CCF and when I go to download, I get a web page with a bunch of symbols. Can someone help. All I need is the Hex IR Code for disrete On and discrete Off. Thank you very much. Thanks

Of course the above hex doesn't work. They are for a Blu-ray player not a plasma TV.
I tried the 5010 ccf and it opened properly for me so I need to ask a few questions.
What do you mean you get a bunch of symbols when you download a ccf from the Pioneer site? Did you try to open the file without using ProntoEdit? Did you save the file to your PC first and then import the ccf to the 9400 software?
I need to know exactly what you are doing as I am responsible for the Pioneer CI pages. If there is something wrong with a file I need to know so that I can fix it.
I need that information please but here are the codes you want -
