All you have to say is "I got it at Costco" and we may have clued in :)
I admittedly did not pay much attention to the actual model number. I have run accross one of these sets before. It sort of looked like a Pioneer (silver) and it did have the logo but the features were stripped down to little or nothing.
I have seen more than one manufacturer put out a run of contract sets for Costco with little but the logo. I always assumed that the manufacturer contracted out the contract to another manufacturer and just slapped their name on it.
Whenever I am shopped by a customer against Costco I always tell them to look up the model number on the manufacturers web site. If the number does not come up, they are comparing apples to oranges and are not necessarily getting the set they think they are getting.
