Page 55 of the manual shows how to enter the service mode using the remote control.
Page 62 shows the Super Standby Mode parameter you must change. It is Group 100, Item 4. The default is "1 = Super Standby". You must change it to a "0 = Normal".
(the manual is wrong, it says the default is "0").

Be careful when in the service menus. Don't experiment with changing other items. A wrong setting could permanently mess up your projector.
