To turn the projector ON, I use the non-discrete power command which I learned from my Z5's IR remote. If it helps, I have a Pronto 7500. Here is the IR code I copied from my PCF file in ProntoProEdit NG:

900A 006D 0000 0001 3300 00FF

To turn the projector OFF, I use the discrete power off command I found in a previous post. It was generated from the MakeHex utility. It is the NEC 50.1 IR code #161
Here it is:

900A 006D 0000 0001 3300 A15E

I recommend you set Z5 standby mode to "Normal" (see my previous post). You must go into the Z5 service menus to do this. If the standby mode is not set to Normal, the IR power on command will be flaky.
