Hi Tgrugett,

I've been reading over your posts relating to Sharp TVs with interest as I'd like to find discrete codes for my 32GD7E here in the UK. I've tried all the discrete power codes and all the discrete input selection codes and none work (other than the PC code which is on the original remote in any case). I really don't know much about these codes but I did notice that when I cut and paste the codes from you original post into Prontoedit NG (version 2.1.8.0) the code is changed after saving! For example, the discrete power on code as copied from your post is:

0000 006D 0000 0020 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 001E 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 0679 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 001E 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 0679

After pasting into Prontoedit I click OK and then immediately re-open the IR code; it has been changed to this:

0000 006D 0000 0020 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 001E 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 0680 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 001E 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 0680

Are these two sequences actually eqiuvalent or is Pronoedit changing it in a way that could explain why the codes don't work for me?
