Mcnasty......its a great idea but it wont work i have tried to configure my IR port on my laptop to do just this , unless you know a top notch programmer to rewrite the pronto edit software i am afraid your out of luck maybe try picking up an older TS1000 lots of people traded up to the TSU2000 and use it to store all your codes on hand.another thing is you might find an old broken down model cracked screen ect....thats no good as long as the PCB inside is ok and the blaster on the front is to you will have an already configured way to test equipment with ccf. files straight form you laptop , just a idea. good luck.
