Hi John,
I have an LT-150z. It's really a 4:3 pj, but does the "squeeze" for 16:9 material. So, when we watch SD source, I put the DTC-100 in HD on, 4:3, and set the pj for "Normal" (no vertical squeeze). For Hi Def (either DirecTV or OTA), I put the DTC-100 in HD on, 16:9, and set the pj for "Cinema" (vertical squeeze). Yes, making the picture smaller might be frowned on except, with an 84 in screen, the 16:9 image is still 6 1/2 ft by 3 ft - pretty big for us. This looks great, BTW. So, when the system is turned off and on the next time, it could be either aspect ratio. In order to make the system more SO friendly, a default set-up would be useful. Thanks. HNick
