I'm not sure *what* your ultimate goal is -- ie, what you want to control, and how do you want it to act/react. With a few more details, I can probably point you in the right direction.

Crestron's Simpl language isn't really as difficult as it seems -- it's just "different". Unlike more common languages (C, etc), it's more "visual". You kind of have to picture what you want to do, in your head, then select the appropriate "symbols" to accomplish that.
