Does anyone make a component video swither with discrete control that is reasonable? I want to add another component video source to my TV and be able to have discrete IR control, ata stretch RS-232 control would be okay as well. What about a contact closure switcher with an x10 module and a transformer.

I am going to be switching a nintendo game cube and a DVD player into a Sony XBR.

Are things like the inline automatic 2 to 1 switcher confusing to use? I can imagine not wanting to turn the dvd OR the gamecube off and wanting to watch the other device so the automatic switch seems bad.
