I use Crestron no matter what. It's totally scaleable and with the new Pronto sized wireless touchpad, we'll all be kissing Prontos good bye. I've done everything from a small home theater, performing arts theater, to a boardroom, to a netowrk operations center with Crestron with very few problems. Even if you have a lox end client, with a little product knowledge, you can creatively keep the cost low, and you won't compromise usability or upgradability.
