If you use Niles or AMX, be prepared to have to reset them regularly. A dedicated switched outlet or reset switch is handy to allow them to reboot. It's either that or a frustrating phone call or quick service call to get them running again. Try explaing which wire is the power cord to a MSU mounted upside down behind a rack. A little red button is much easier for those intimidated by cabling. I could make a career only servicing AMX, Intellicontrols, and Replays. Isn't anything dependable anymore? At least my Marantz RC5200 is reliable.
