The Satellite issue was unrelated and the problem was the IR emitter wasn,t transmitting and so the Sat is fine.
As for the plasma, Panasonic recommended a service center send a tech, so we have one on the way.
As for protection I'm using an HTS 2500.
According to the client no one has been working in the house at all. The subdivision is established on the lake but homes are still being built within a quarter mile.
