Can't say it's electrical problem related (although it sounds like it), but we install whole house sure protection and a good surge protector at the plasma. If possible a Primax 5300.. Or in wall outlet protector.. Have not had a single plasma failure. That would keep me up at night!..
I also wouldn't rule out problems related to static electricity if they have a problem there, although they are using a pronto... Did you sleep well last night?
I would invest in a power monitor / data logger and leave it on the line and check for anomalies.
Have electricians been working in the house at all? Even to replace a switch? In the building, in the subdivision? Is this a new home / neighborhood, old?
