Just received a call from a client saying they have no picture or sound from their Hughes HD receiver. First I check other sources and we have audio (except Sat) and no video. Upon manually pressing the power button of the Panasonic 50" plasma the power led turns green then flashes red 4 or 5 times. First I think no video signal then the client informs me there is a burnt smell coming from the lower left corner near the power button. No heat at the plasma.
How this relates to the Sat I'm not sure yet, I should at least be getting audio if it's only the Plasma. Checked the russoundca6.4 and their is no audio for distributed audio of the Sat either.
The 2 problems are probably not related. By the way the Pronto is doing all the work so I know inputs are being change correctly.
Oh, the system was working fine until the misses changed the audio station on the sat. (yea right)
Any input on the plasma issue would be appreciated.
Plasma is approx. 3 months new.
I'd like to get any possible input before going out in the morning. (not very familiar with Plasma issues)at all)
