a customer has a KT-DB816, the digital phone system that was installed by someone else who is no longer in business... He called me and asked me to see about getting this fixed...

When his secretary tries to transfer a call to an outside line, it does the transfer, but you can't hear anything but faint echoes...

has anyone ever had this problem and knows of a cure? (ripping it out and sending it in for repairs is an option- i think)
