I think Def Techs are good speakers. I carried them for several years before going to Paradigm. At the time, Def Tech did not offer any book shelf speakers and also had a limited selection of subs. Things are different now.

One caution, Def Techs distribuion is not quite as tight as B&W and Paradigm. Also, in the latest Inside Track Newsletter dealer survey (December 31st.), Def Tech slipped from third to fifth in the category of "Specialist Oriented Business Programs". Paradigm was ranked number one with B&W coming in number two in this area. Phase Tech was ranked number three.
