Xantech used to make a product called "FoneLink" and it worked quite well with a range of hundreds of feet if using a 2.4gig wireless phone. I would suggest to wire in a battery backup so you don't loose the codes. It came out way back in 1992 and they stopped making it around 1999 but i have seen several around. email me with any questions.
