Not an installer, hope this is OK. I have a Niles IRP2+ with 4 devices attached in serial to it through their built-in remote cables that stick out the rear corner of the boxes. Everything works fine.

I have tried to add one more device (my Motorola 5100 cable box) by using an IRC2 microflasher attached to the variable out port. I have adjusted the output every which way, have moved the flasher every which way and cannot get it to work.

Have I exceeded the output of the thing by adding a 5th device? Any suggestions?
