Its the Zenith SAT-520 that is built on the same chasis as the SAT-200 SOny. Not the 1080. IR codes are different, but rs-232 command set is the same.
THe reason to remotely trigger SD vs. HD output is for Recording to a VCR. When in HD mode, no compoiste or S output for Recording. Thats why I still like the DTC-100.
