for what it's worth....
mid....NAD, Onkyo, Marantz, Yamaha, Denon, and B&K....my pref being NAD and B&K
high...Lexicon, Meridian, Krell, EAD, Boulder, Ayre, Theta Digital, SimAudio (Moon), Classe`, etc...
More importantly, you need to define the price points you consider "mid" and "high"
