Hey folks,

I have been interested in home theater for a while and I am curious about getting into the business. I don't really want to start my own business at this time...I just want to work for someone doing installations and theater setups. However, besides setting up my own equipment...I have never done this professionally.

My question is...can I get trained somewhere. Will employers train people looking to get into the business?

Also, is there a distinct difference between companies that design theaters and installers? Do many companies do it all?

Any info, opinions or advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
