I was very hesitant to have anything to do w/ them, the last thing we needed was another loudspeaker company, already doing business w/ both Sonance and SpeakerCraft (and Bay Audio, put in our evaluation pair of Bay 885's this week, finally the speaker we have been waiting for...). Anyway, as a favor to a friend in the sales rep business I met w/ the folks at TruAudio and we are testing a few loudspeakers. Having experience w/ the Chinese manufacturer of OWI and a good number of other really inexpensive loudspeakers, these aren't those. The build quality is on par with the efforts of a SpeakerCraft or Sonance, which makes sense as the founding partners are ex Sonance employees. All of the right bits are there, good rough-in-frames, cams that work, paint covers, blank ot kits etc. The sound is fairly good as well, certainly on par with other speakers in its range. I imagine they will have a bit of success, especially in regions where the other lines are already wrapped up.
