Parasound does not have two sets of codes.
It does have Xantech compatible jacks on the backside to insert commands. With that feature, it's comparitively easy to "zone" tuners; one for the kitchen, one for the den, etc.
The folks at Parasound offer the aforementioned side by side option, as well as a filler to complete one rack space. (the unit is one rack unit high, and half a rack unit wide....)
