Tripple Q. I will try to explain so that you can understand someone who cant possibly be as smart or as good as your self. When pricing cable for production builder projects ( remember I stated that this is not my normal market but it keeps my installers busy) you will not be able to get the job unless the builder can get close to the price that the electrician is paying. The electrician until know has been paying around the same cost price as me. We have always used very fine quality cable on a direct purchase from the manufacture. About $350,000. dollars last year with best pricing terms. So you are giving the builder a break to keep the guys busy. are you with me so far (yes or no).
So then a cable comes out that appears to be substancially lower than the rest. How could it be that they are selling cable at 50 cents on the dollar. I dont know but im sure that you will be able to tell us all that dont understand how this business really should be done. Thanks for any input TRIPLE Q
