Like I said, I don't know the details, I was just spoutin' what the guys told me at the ZON booth in Long Beach...

I do understand the theory behind the twisted pair and the noise/inductance. I was looking at the specs for the type of wire that they recommend (Belden 8719), and it has a listed impedance (65 Ohm). If you look at a normal 16/4 speaker cable on the same site (such as Belden 5202UE, for example) it does not have a listed impedance.

After I saw that, I thought that maybe some of what they said might have some credence. But, I am by no means an engineer. I don't even own a train...

I appreciate all the help that I can get.
